A diagonal route through the Australian outback, leaving Perth and crossing to Darwin, in the far North. Solitude, heat, lack of water and the danger of some animals were the main challenges of the journey. Juan had to endure temperatures of up to 45°C in the shade at the central hours of the day. He drank 12 liters of water per day and had to deal with permanent dehydrations, on an itinerary that linked the most remote aboriginal communities.
